Lishan tea plantation is located in Central Taiwan at an altitude of about 2,300 meters, with two harvests per year. The place snows during winter, is cool during spring and foggy throughout the year. Due to the cold temperature and winter snow, the tea trees have a long growth period, resulting in thick tea leaves that carry a unique sweet and mellow taste, strong cold mineral aroma and fruity fragrance.
Dayuling Tea, Taiwan’s highest altitude high mountain tea
Dayuling tea plantation is situated at an altitude of more than 2,500 meters. During winter, the temperature often falls below zero degrees, and the annual average temperature does not exceed 20 degrees Celsius. Dayuling tea plantation’s temperature varies significantly between day and night, and its soils are rich in organic matter, hence nurturing Dayuling tea that features thick leaves, rich pectin, evident freshness of frost and mountain, and strong aftertaste. Its unique mellow mouthfeel is very much liked and sought after by tea lovers. Dayuling tea can be considered the highest grade of Taiwanese tea.
